We also sell these tires in a 7 1/2″ round tread, 7 1/2″ flat tread and 6 1/2″ flat tread.
Please read this before ordering pedal car tires.
We stock the two most commonly needed pedal car tires. The
nominal sizes are 6 ½ and 7 ½ inch. These do not refer to the inside or the
outside diameter of the tire. They refer to the diameter of the wheel they are
used on. The 6 ½ inch tires is for a wheel that is approximately 6 3/8 inch in
diameter measured edge of rim to edge of rim. The 7 ½ inch tire is for wheels
that are approximately 7 3/8 inch in diameter measured edge of rim to edge of
rim.
Also, each size is available in two styles, round, which is
shaped like a motorcycle tire, or flat which is shaped like a car tire.  Some pedal cars came with one style, some
with the other. Which style you order is a matter of personal preference.
Installing the tire is easier if you get the tire hot,
either by hot tap water, a microwave, or an oven. Once heated up, they will
stretch over the wheel fairly easily.
